Fabric Requirements: 

Dark Blue:  (8) 2 1/2" squares                                      Yellow:  (4) 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" strip

                    (4) 3" squares                                                           (4) 3" squares 

                                                                                                       (1) 2 1/2" square

Light Blue:  (4) 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" strip                                             White:  (4) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" strips

                    (8) 3" squares - draw a diagonal                          

                                            line on wrong side

Sewing Instructions:        For ease in assembling - press all seams open.

Sew (1) 2 1/2" 5 1/2" Light Blue strip to                          

(1) 2 1/2" 5 1/2" Yellow strips. Subcut                              Make 4-Patches using these units:

into 2 1/2" units.

Make Half Square Triangles (HST) by placing  (1) 3" Light Blue square on top of (1) 3" Yellow square, right sides together. Stitch 1/4" on each side of drawn line, cut apart on line, and press open.

Repeat above process using (1) 3" Dark Blue square and (1) 3" Light Blue square.

Make 8

Sew (1) 2 1/2" Dark Blue square on one end of (1) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" White strip.

     Assemble the block quadrants as shown:
