Fabric Requirements:

Focal fabric................... (1) 4 1/2" square

(4) 3" square

Background.................... (4) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"

(1) 5 1/4" square - cut twice diagonally

(4) 3" square - draw diagonal line on wrong side

Coordinate #1 (Blue)... (2) 4 7/8" square - cut once diagonally YOUR #1 color_________________

Coordinate #2 (orange). (4) 2 1/2" square YOUR #2 color__________________

Sewing Instructions:

Make Half Square Triangles (HST) by placing (1) 3" Background square on top of (1) 3" Focal fabric, right sides

together. Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to Focal. square up to 2 1/2"

Make 8

Sew (1) HST on each end of (1) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" strip, Sew (1) 2 1/2" Orange #2 on each end of two units,

as shown: as shown:

Sew (1) Background Triangle to each side of (1) 4 1/2" Focal square, as shown:

HINT: Fold triangle in half, and

finger crease. Next fold Focal Square in half, and finger crease. Match creases to center units.

Your block should measure 6 1/2"

Make 1

Repeat process using unit above and Blue #1 Triangles.

Your block should measure 8 1/2"

Make 1

Assemble your block as shown:

Your block should measure 12 1/2"
