Fabric Requirements:
Focal Fabric...................... (1) 4 1/2" square
(4) 2 1/2" square
Background....................... (2) 4 1/4" square - cut twice on diagonal
(3) 5 1/2" square - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
Coordinating #1 (Blue)..... (2) 4 7/8" square - cut once on diagonal YOUR #1__________________
Coordinating #2 (Green).... (1) 5 1/2" square YOUR #2__________________
Sewing Instructions:
Place (1) 5 1/2" Background square on top of (1) 5 1/2" Coordinate #2 (Green) square, right sides together.
Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to Green. No need to square up now.
Next place (1) 5 1/2" Background square on top of above unit, right sides together with above unit seam,
and background square drawn line, opposite each other, as shown. Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn
line. Cut apart on line, and press to background.
Square up to 4 1/2"
Make 4
Sew (1) Background triangle to bottom and Next, sew (1) Coordinate #1 (Blue) triangle
right side of (1) 2 1/2" Focal fabric square, as shown: to unit, as shown:

Assemble you block as shown:
Your block should measure 12 1/2"
