7. Make Quick Corner blocks as shown by placing a Dark Blue 2" square, right sides together, on one corner of a Red 3 1/2" square.  Sew on drawn line.  Trim seam allowance to 1/4",  and press open.
   

                              

10. Sew a Red/Dark Blue Quick Corner block to each side of a
     White/Red Indian Hatchet block, rotating them to match illustration below.

      (You will have extra Indian Hatchet blocks you will use later in this project)

          Make 40 blocks
  8. Make Quick Corner  blocks by placing a 2" Red square on top of a
        White 3 1/2" square, right sides together, as shown. Stitch on the diagonal line. 
        Trim seam allowance to 1/4", flip and press.

9. Repeat process in opposite corner of White square to make an
    Indian Hatchet block.
Make 40 Indian Hatchet blocks
