7. Make Quick Corner blocks as shown by placing a Dark Blue 2" square, on one corner of a Red 3 1/2" square., right sides together, and sew on the drawn line. Trim seam allowance to 1/4", then press open.
10. Sew a Red/Dark Blue Quick Corner block to each side of a
White/Red Indian Hatchet blocks, rotating them to match illustration below.
Make 20 units
(Save the extra Indian Hatchet blocks for another clue)
8. Make Quick Corner blocks by placing a 2" Red square on top of a
White 3 1/2" square, right sides together, as shown below. Stitch on the diagonal line. Trim seam allowance to 1/4", flip and press.
9. Repeat process in opposite corner of White square to make an
Indian Hatchet block.
