Cutting Instructions:
RED:..........(18) 3 1/2" squares

WHITE: ...... (10) 4" squares - draw line on wrong side
(24) 3 7/8" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side
DARK BLUE:. (10) 4" squares
GOLD:....... (6) 7 1/4" squares
Make Flying Geese by placing (2) 3 7/8" WHITE squares on top of (1) 7 1/4" GOLD square, right sides together (small squares will slightly overlap). Draw a line from top left corner to bottom right. Sew scant 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, press to White.
Next place (1) 3 7/8 WHITE square, right sides together, as shown. Draw a diagonal line. Sew scant 1/4" on each side of line.
Cut apart on line, press to White. Each 7 1/4" Gold, plus (4) 3 7/8" White squares will make 4 Flying Geese.

Make HST's, using (1) 4" WHITE square, and (1) 4" DARK BLUE square, right sides together. Sew 1/4" on each side of line,
cut apart on line, and press to Blue. Square up to 3 1/2"

(2) 5" squares
DARK BLUE:.....(10) 4" squares
(12) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
LIGHT BLUE:....(8) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
(2) 5" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
Make a Split 4-patch with (2) 3 1/2 BW HST, and (2) 3 1/2" RED blocks, being careful of HST rotation and placement:
