Cutting Instructions:
RED:...... (8) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"
(2) 5" squares
DK BLUE:.....(10) 4" squares
(12) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
LIGHT BLUE:....(8) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
(2) 5" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
WHITE:...........(10) 4" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side
Make more Dark Blue/White HST's, by placing (1) 4" WHITE square on top of (1) 4" DARK BLUE square, right sides together. Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to Blue. Square up to 3 1/2:"

Place (1) 2 1/2" LIGHT BLUE square on top of Next, place (1) 2 1/2" DARK BLUE square on other end of unit,
(1) 2 1/2"x 4 1/2" RED strip, right sides together, sew on drawn line. Cut 1/4" seam allowance, and press
as shown. Sew on drawn line. to Dark Blue.
Cut 1/4" seam allowance, and press to Light Blue.
LABEL: 3 1/2" BW HST
Make 4
Repeat above process, but this time sew diagonal lines in opposite direction.

Make HST's by placing (1) 5" LIGHT BLUE square on top of (1) 5" RED square, right sides together. Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to Red. Square up to 4 1/2"
Make 4
Next place (1) 2 1/2" DARK BLUE square on top of Red Corner of above HST unit. Sew on line, cut seam allowance to 1/4", flip back, and press to Red.
