Cutting Instructions: 

Red...........  (20) 4 1/2" squares- On wrong side, draw diagonal line from corner to corner.  Draw another line 1/2"  inside of this
                                 line (see diagram in step 2 below)
                   (9) 4" squares

Cream........ (20) 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"
                 (20) 2 1/2" x 12 1/2"
                 (18) 4" squares- draw diagonal line on wrong side

Blue........... (20) 4 1/2"  squares- On wrong side, draw diagonal line from corner to corner.  Draw another line 1/2" inside of this
                                    line (see diagram in step 2below)
                   (9)  4" squares
Sewing Instructions: 

Sew (1)  2 1/2" x 8 1/2" CREAM strip to each side of  "D" units.  Next, sew (1) 2 1/2" x 12 1/2" CREAM strip to top and bottom
of block, as shown:
Make 10
Place (1) 4 1/2" BLUE square on above block as shown.  Sew on BOTH drawn lines, then cut apart, leaving 1/4" seam
allowance on each.                    (**DO NOT DISCARD - see next step below)
Repeat in opposite corner with Blue square.   Next, place (1) 4 1/2" RED square on block as shown, repeating process.

**Square up HST unit made from quick corner on above block.   Square up to 3 1/2"   
Make 20 of each color
