Cutting Instructions:
Red................. (2) 2 1/2" x 13"
(10) 5 1/4" squares
Blue................(2) 2 1/2" x 13"
(10) 5 1/4" squares
Gold............... (80) 2 7/8" - draw diagonal line on wrong side
Make more 4-patches as shown in Clue #1.
Make 5
Make Flying Geese by placing (1) 2 7/8" GOLD square in opposite corners of (1) 5 1/4" RED square, right sides together. (they will slightly overlap). Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to GOLD.
Next place (1) 2 7/8" GOLD square in corner of unit, right sides together, as shown. Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to GOLD. Your Flying Geese units should measure 2 1/2" x 4 1/2".
Make 40
Repeat above process using (1) 5 1/4" BLUE and (4) 2 7/8" GOLD squares.
