(24) 3 1/2" square - draw a diagonal line on wrong side, then
draw another line 1/4" away. Cut apart on this line. --->

(24) 1 1/2" x 4 3/4"
(6) 1 1/4": x WOF
(24) 3 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side, then draw another
line 1/4" away. Cut apart on this line
Red.................. (1) 3 1/2" x WOF
(3) 2" x WOF
Sewing Instructions:
Make more 4-patches, using (1) 3 1/2" x WOF Background strip and (1) 3 1/2" x WOF Red strip. Use the remaining unit from Clue #1 and the remaining unit from this clue to make one more for a total of 6.
Sew (1) 1 1/2" x 4 3/4" Blue strip to each side of Place (1) 3 1/2" Blue triangle on opposite corners of unit, lining up raw edges.
(1) 2 1/2" x 4 3/4" Background strip, as shown: Sew on drawn line. Flip and press to Blue.
Press to dark
Repeat process on remaining corners, using (1) 3 1/2" Background square in each corner. Press to Background.
Sew (1) 1 1/4" x WOF Blue strip on each side of (1) 2" x WOF RED strip lengthwise as shown. Subcut in to (11) 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" units.

Make Flying Geese using the No Waste Flying Geese method. Place (1) 3 7/8" Blue square on opposite corners, of
(1) 7 1/4" Background square, right sides together (they will slightly overlap). Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and to dark. Next place (1) 3 7/8" Blue square in remaining corner. Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to dark.
Make 4
Your Flying Geese should measure 3 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Background.................(1) 3 1/2" x WOF
(1) 3 1/2" x 15"
Blue.......................... (16) 4 1/4" squares
Red........................... (64) 2 3/8" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
(1) 3 1/2" x WOF
(1) 3 1/2" x 15"
Use same procedure for 3 1/2" white squares, too
