Sew a "B" unit on each side of a 4 1/2" RED square.
Cutting Instructions:
RED:........... (5) 4 1/2" square
GOLD:......(16) 3" square
BLUE:..........(32) 5" squares - cut once diagonally
WHITE:.........(16) 3" square - draw diagonal line on wrong side
(16) 5 1/2" squares - cut diagonally twice to yield 4 triangles each
Make more White/Gold HST's by placing (1) 3" WHITE square on top of (1) GOLD square, right sides together.
Sew 1/4" seam on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on line, and press to GOLD. Square up to 2 1/2"
Make more White/Gold Pinwheels, using method used in previous clue. Your block should measure 4 1/2"
Sew a WHITE triangle to each side of your White/Gold pinwheels, as shown:.
Next sew a BLUE triangle to each side of above unit, as shown:
Square up to 8 1/2"
Make 16
