Sew (2) "MM" units to (1) "SS" units as shown:
MM LABEL: BLOCK 3
SS
MM Make 4
Sew your Blocks 1,2,3 together into rows, then rows together in the order as shown below:
Note: Rotate each block until they look EXACTLY like below.
Sew (1) Gold Framed Pinwheel with 3 Red Quick Corners on each end of (1) 3 Block Strip, as shown:
AGAIN, ROTATE BLOCKS UNTIL THEY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THIS !!:
Make 2
Assemble your quilt top by sewing (1) 3 Block Strip to each side of inner top. Next sew the 5 Block Strips to top and
bottom, as shown below, BEING VERY CAREFUL of ROW ROTATION:
LABEL: 5 BLOCK STRIPS
Borders:
Sew your 4 1/2" x WOF BLUE strips together end to end.
Cut (2) strips 60" long. Sew to sides of quilt top. (NOTE BELOW!)
Next cut (2) strips 68" long. Sew to top and bottom of quilt top.
Because not everyone's 1/4" seam may be precise, it is best to measure your top through the middle to determine your border measurements. Use the following guide to help:
* Measure your top through the middle vertically to determine your side border measurement. Cut (2) strips to the length, then sew to sides of quilt top. Next measure your top horizontally from outside border to outside border edge to determine your top and bottom border measurement. Cut (2) strips to this length, then sew to top and bottom of top.
