Sew (1) 4 1/2" RED square between (1) "A" unit and (1) "B" unit, as shown:
Make 4
Sew (1) 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" GOLD strip to each side of (1) Blue Framed Pinwheel. Next sew (1) 2 1/2" x 12 1/2" GOLD strip to top and bottom, as shown.
Make 8 Your block should measure 12 1/2"
Place (1) 4 1/2" RED square on one corner of your above unit, right sides together. Stitch on drawn line. Cut 1/4" seam allowance, flip back and press.
Repeat above process until you have the correct number units as shown below:

RED:....... (4) 4 1/2" squares GOLD:....(16) 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"
(20) 4 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side (16) 2 1/2" x 12 1/2"
WHITE:....(16) 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"
(16) 2 1/2' 12 1/2"
Make 4
Sew (1) 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" WHITE strip to each side of (1) Blue Framed Pinwheel unit. Next sew (1) 2 1/2" x 12 1/2" WHITE strip to top and bottom as shown:
