QOV Mystery #6 68" x 68"
This is a 6 part mystery. Clues will be posted weekly, beginning March 7, 2009.
Instructions are for Yardage, but if you want a scrappy look, just cut your pieces out of many fabrics,
then mix and match your units within each clue. Cutting instructions will be given at the end of each
clue for the following clue.
Fabric Requirements: Clue #1...March 7, 2009
Red.....1 1/2 yards Clue #3...March 21, 2009
Blue.... 2 1/2 yards Clue #4...March 28, 2009
White...1 1/2 yards Clue #5...April 4, 2009
Gold.....1 1/8 yards Clue #6...April 11, 2009
Cutting Instructions for Clue #1:
RED:.... (8) 4 1/2" squares GOLD:.... (16) 3" squares
BLUE:....(7) 4 1/2" x WOF (set aside) WHITE:....(2) 5 1/4" squares
(8) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" (16) 3" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
(8) 2 7/8" squares
Cutting Instructions for Clue #3 (clue will be posted March 21, 2009)
RED:........... (5) 4 1/2" square GOLD:......(16) 3" square
BLUE:..........(32) 5"squares - cut diagonally once
WHITE:.........(16) 3" square - draw diagonal line on wrong side
(16) 5 1/2" squares - cut diagonally twice to yield 4 triangles each
