QOV Mystery 7             Clue #6  Final Assembly

Sew (5) DUTY Blocks together end to end as shown:

Make 2

Assemble your inner quilt top as shown:

Inner Border:

Sew your (7) 2 1/2" x WOF BLUE strips together end to end.  Measure and cut (2) strips 60" long, and sew to sides of quilt top.

Next measure and cut (2) strips 64" long, and sew to top and bottom.

NOTE:  Because not all 1/4" seams are perfect, be sure you measure your quilt top through the middle of the top vertically, and use this measurement for your side borders.  After sewing them on, measure top again, but this time horizontally through middle of quilt. This will be your measurement for your side borders.

Sew (4) Pinwheel & Blue/White Strip units together end to end:

Make 4

Sew (1) 4 1/2" BLUE square on each end of 2 of the above units, as shown:

Make 2.

Sew your outer borders on as shown, starting with side borders.

Mystery Solved!

Cutting Instructions:   BLUE:...(4) 4 1/2" squares
