              (32) 3 1/2" squares

WHITE:...(48)  2 1/2" squares

               (4)  3" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side

               (8)    2 1/2 x 4 1/2"

GOLD:      (4)  3" squares

Sew (1) Gold/White HST, (1) 2 1/2" BLUE square, and (1) 2 1/2" WHITE square together as shown:

Sew (2) above units together as shown:

Sew B-1 and B-2 units together, as shown:

Sew (1) "M" unit between (1) QC-1 and (1) QC-2 units, as shown

Sew units in the following order:   (1) 3 1/2" BLUE square,  "A" unit,  Red/Blue QST unit, "A" unit, and (1) 3 1/2" BLUE square

Sew units in the following order:  (1) "M" unit, Red/Blue QST, Square-in-a-Square, Red/Blue QST, "M" unit, being careful of unit rotation

Assemble your COURAGE BLOCK as shown:                                      Your block should measure 15 1/2"

Make HST's by placing (1) 3" WHITE square on top of (1) 3" GOLD square, right sides together.  Sew 1/4" on both sides of drawn line.  Cut apart on line, and press to GOLD.                Square up to 2 1/2"

Sew (1) 2 1/2" BLUE square between (2) Gold/White HST units as shown, being careful of HST rotation

Sew (1) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" BLUE strip to (1) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" WHITE                             Sew (1) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" WHITE strip to side of unit
