QOV Mystery 9 Clue #6 Final Assembly
Cutting Instructions:
RED: (5) 2" x WOF
BLUE:...(4) 2 1/2" squares
Assemble sashing strips as shown
S-1 2 1/2" Sq S-2 2 1/2" Sq S-1
Make 2
Sew (2) S-1 units between (3) COURAGE blocks, as shown
Sew (2) S-2 unts between (2) COURAGE blocks, and (1) USA Block as shown
Assemble your inner quilt top, as shown:
Inner Borders:
Sew your 2" x WOF RED strips together, end to end.
Cut (2) 2" x 49", and sew to sides of top.
Cut (2) 2" x 52" strips and sew to top and bottom
Sew (6) B-1/B-2 Units together + (1) B-1 unit on the end, as shown
B-1/B-2 B-1/B-2 B-1/B-2 B-1/B-2 B-1/B-2 B-1/B-2 B-1
Make 4
Sew (1) of the above Border strips to each side of your quilt top, being care of placement

Sew a corner unit to each end of your remaining border units, being VERY careful of unit rotation.

Sew above strip to top and bottom of quilt top. Note: strip is rotated upside down on bottom.
