Cutting Instructions:

       RED:......(16) 4" squares                       WHITE:......(8) 4 1/2" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side

                                                                                  (16) 4" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side

       BLUE:    (32)  3 1/2" x 6 1/2"                 GOLD:....(32)  3 1/2" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side

                     (8)    4 1/2" squares

Make Half Square Triangles (HST) by placing (1) 4" WHITE square on top of (1) 4" RED square, right sides together.  Sew 1/4" on both sides of

drawn line.  Cut apart on line and press to Red.                            Square up to 3 1/2"                LABEL: "A"

Make 32

Place (1)  3 1/2" GOLD square on top of (1) 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" BLUE strip, right sides together. Sew on drawn line. Cut 1/4" seam allowance,

flip back, and press to Blue.                                                                                                     LABEL:  QC-1

Make 16

Make more HST's by placing (1) 4 1/2" WHITE square on top of (1) 4 1/2" BLUE square, right sides together.  Sew 1/4" on each side of drawn line. Cut apart on drawn line, and press to Blue.      No need to square up                           LABEL: "B"

Cutting Instructions:    CLUE #2

    RED:...... (12) 2 1/2" x 15 1/2"                          WHITE: (8) 4 1/2" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side

                   (8) 4 1/2" squares

    BLUE:.....(16)  2 1/2" squares - draw diagonal line on wrong side

Repeat above process, but this time place square on opposite corner, as shown:                        LABEL: QC-2
