Blue......... (4) 4 1/2" squares
(8) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
Red..........(8) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
Gold......... (2) 4 1/2" squares
(4) 2 1/2" squares -draw a diagonal line on wrong side
White........ (3) 4 1/2" square
(8) 2 1/2" squares - draw a diagonal line on wrong side
Sewing Instructions:
Place (1) 2 1/2" GOLD square on top of
(1) 4 1/2" BLUE square,
as shown. Stitch on drawn line.
Trim 1/4" seam allowance,
flip, and press to Gold.
Place (1) 2 1/2" RED square, on top of this unit,
as shown, and sew on line. Trim 1/4" seam
allowance, flip and press to Red.
Next, make 2 white corners on same unit by using 2 1/2" WHITE squares, and using above technique:
Next make a block, using above technique,
but this time change the placement of the
GOLD and RED corners, as shown:
Using above method, make one block using
(1) 4 1/2" WHITE square and (4) 2 1/2" RED squares
Next make a block, as shown below, using Repeat process, making block as shown:

Assemble your block as shown:
Your block should measure 12 1/2" Unfinished
