QOV Mystery Three YARDAGE Clue #6
Assembling your quilt:
Assemble your (5) rows as shown, being careful to rotate the String HST units correctly, matching seams for your Valor Blocks. The String HST blocks do NOT need to match any seams to your Valor blocks.
Inner border:
Sew your 2 ½” x WOF GOLD strips together, end to end. Measure and cut (2) 2 ½” x 50 ½” strips. Sew these to the sides of your quilt top.
Next cut (2) 2 ½” x 54 ½” strips and sew to top and bottom of quilt top.
Sew (9) Chain Link blocks together end to end. Make (2).
NOTE: rotate these for a random pleasing look – there is no ‘pattern’.
Sew these to the sides of your quilt top.
Sew (11) Chain Link blocks together end to end. Make (2).
Use the random method above.
Sew these to the top and bottom of quilt top. Remove paper.
