Sew (1)  2 1/2" x 8" WHITE strip between (2)  2 1/2" x 8"  RED strips as shown.

Subcut into 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" units.

                                     Repeat until you have 26 units.                              LABEL:  "Q"

Make 9-patch blocks using your "Q" units and "W" units as shown:

Your 9-patch blocks should measure 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Make Half Square Triangle units (HST) using your (52) 3 1/4" WHITE squares and (52) 3 1/4" BLUE squares.

With right sides together, stitch 1/4" on each side of your drawn diagonal line.  Cut apart on drawn line and press to BLUE.
